Spread joy to local families this holiday season by supporting our combined food basket and gift giving mission.
The Missions Outreach Committee at First UMC partners with Children and Family Services of Connecticut each year to deliver food baskets and gifts to local families. With your help, we will provide 50 food baskets and deliver them with wrapped Christmas gifts for kids.

Donate to First United Methodist Church through Zelle or a check and include “Christmas Gift” in the memo section. Through your donations, the Missions Outreach Committee will provide a gift for an underprivileged child.

Call Awesome Toys at 203-674-8001 and let them know are participating in the FUMC Christmas Gift Mission. Provide your budget and select a gender (male, female or neutral) and age group. Awesome Toys will grant a 20% discount on most items and deliver the gift to FUMC.

Go shopping with your children and drop wrapped gift(s) off at the church office.

Order online and have the gift delivered to FUMC.
Please deliver all gifts by December 17th and mark the outside of the package with the suggested gender and age.
Now is a wonderful time of year to put your faith into action. The Missions Outreach Committee is thankful for your contribution.
