It’s that time of year again! First UMC is collecting back-to-school backpacks to support children served by the Department of Children and Families in Norwalk, CT. Many of these kids are starting at a new school as part of the placement process — a filled backpack helps them feel ready and like they belong.
Fill a backpack with school supplies (elementary or middle/high school lists available at the church office) — new items only, please
Drop off at the church office by Sunday, August 2nd

Want to help assemble backpacks? Join us Sunday, August 16th after church service.
