A first priority at First United Methodist Church is to Reach people in and around Stamford with the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.  It has been said that evangelism is one hungry person telling another hungry person where to find bread.  This is what we are doing.  Jesus Christ is the Bread of Life.  We have learned that a relationship with Jesus Christ is elemental to our fulfillment as human beings.  We evangelize not to push faith on others, but to share good news with those who need it and want it.
