We are a come as you are church. Jeans or suits are equally welcome.
The services are approximately one hour or less. Fellowship & Refreshments after the 10:30 service is a great opportunity to fellowship and grow into the community!
Children are always welcome at First UMC.
Occassionally a children’s message is offered during the 10:30am Sunday service. Sunday School for children ages 3-13 is planned in fall after the children’s message until parents come to retrieve their children after worship, at 11:35am.
Sunday: The former 8:15 am service is stopped owing to Covid Protocols. When restarted in our quaint, cozy chapel, that allows an intimate service of Word and Table. When restarted, Holy Communion shall be celebrated each week.
The 10:30 am service (held in the sanctuary), is the principal service. The Chancel Choir, our 80-rank Schantz pipe organ, as well as the hand bell, adult and children’s choirs are highlights. Communion is celegrated on the 1st Sunday each month.
Saturday: The former 5 pm service is stopped owing to Covid Protocols. When restarted it is planned to be a 45- minute contemporary music, praise and worship experience held upstairs in Room #20. The service is casual and conversational in style.
